Filming begins on James Patterson adaptation The Postcard Killings

March 16, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Good Films has announced that principal photography is now underway on The Postcard Killings, an adaptation of James Patterson and Liza Marklund’s bestselling thriller novel The Postcard Killers.

Danis Tanovic (No Man’s Land, Death in Sarajevo) is directing the film, which stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), Connie Nielsen (Wonder Woman), Denis O’Hare (American Horror Story), Naomi Battrick (A Very English Scandal), Ruairi O’Connor (The Spanish Princess), Cush Jumbo (The Good Fight), Eva Rose (Real Humans), Sallie Harmsen (Blade Runner 2049) and Joachim Krol (Run Lola Run).

The Postcard Killings follows Jacob Kanon (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a hardened New York Detective, in search of the person responsible for the murder of his only daughter. Across Europe, newlywed couples are being targeted in a string of bizarre homicides that leave the young victims’ bodies looking like copies of great works of art.

“It’s always a thrill to have my books made into films and to see my characters come alive on the big screen,” states Patterson. “We’re excited that production is underway on The Postcard Killings and can’t wait to see the end result!”

The Postcard Killings will shoot in London, Norway and Sweden.
