Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley and Glenn Howerton to star in Blumhouse’s The Hunt

March 17, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Deadline is reporting that Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions have enlisted Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), Justin Hartley (This Is Us) and Glenn Howerton (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) to star in the action thriller The Hunt.

Directed by Craig Zobel (Z for Zachariah) from a script by The Leftovers‘ Damon Lindelof and Nick Cuse, the film reportedly “explores escalating aggressiveness between the political right and left in America”, although specific plot details are being kept under wraps.

Jason Blum is producing The Hunt alongside Lindelof, with Cuse and Zobel as executive producers. The film is set for release on October 18th 2019 and also has Ike Barinholtz (Blockers) on board to star.
