Retro-style top down shooter Bugs Must Die arrives on Steam this Friday

April 4, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Fans of top down shooters will be happy this Friday as Dragonglass Games Workshop will be releasing their retro-styled top down shooter Bugs Must Die on Steam.  This frantic paced pixel art twin-stick shooter will bring plenty of nostalgia to fans with its 80s and 90s arcade style.  See more in the trailer below…

Alien Mantis beings from Planet M-79 are planning on invading Earth and only a member of the Galactic Pests Control Company can stop them.  Taking on the role of one of these special agents, players will have to destroy the cruel Mantis soldiers and a variety of big bosses that have taken on the form of things from Earth’s pop culture.

To defeat the cruel alien menace, players will need to control a heavily armoured vehicle with a variety of weapon systems to rain down death and destruction on the enemy, players will also be able to use Mantis Agents with different fixed weapon systems.  Gamers are also able to make use of RPG elements and upgrade their character, vehicles and weapons and make them more effective against the alien hordes.

Bugs Must Die arrives on Steam this Friday (5th April), priced £9.29/ $11.99 / €9.99.
