Kalypso Media and developers Realmforge Studios have announced the start of a special in-game event on their popular strategy game, Dungeons 3. The Golden Pickaxe Event will introduce new treasure hunting challenges to players of the dungeon management sim on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. Watch the new trailer below….
In the Golden Pickaxe Event, players will find that mysterious golden pickaxes are appearing throughout the game world with one making an appearance in each of the DLCs as well as the base game. Collecting these pickaxes will provide players with a selection of goodies and an extra special reward for anyone that can collect a pickaxe in every piece of Dungeons 3 DLC.
There’s also an Easter in-game event running until 22nd April that will see players’ dungeons kitted out with an assortment of cosmetic decorations.
Be sure to take part in these events and earn some goodies.
In the event, the world of Dungeons 3 will suddenly be populated with mysterious golden pickaxes, with one appearing in a mission from each DLC released to date, along with the main game. Naturally, it’s down to the players to gather them up, with a selection of in-game goodies waiting to be unlocked and an extra special reward awaiting anyone that can locate a pickaxe in every piece of Dungeons 3 DLC. Rumour has it that this final reward has some connection to a faraway world…but what could it be?
