September 18, 2015 by Tom Beasley

The film, which is entitled Scream, Queen!: My Nightmare On Elm Street follows Patton in an attempt to discuss the ways in which the reception to the film affected the wider gay community and attitudes to homosexuality in Hollywood during the AIDS-fearing 1980s.

Other key players in the making of A Nightmare On Elm Street 2 are interviewed in the film, including Freddy Krueger actor Robert Englund and director Jack Sholder.

Scream, Queen! is currently looking for backers on Kickstarter, aiming to raise $49,000.
