THR is reporting that Evangeline Lilly (Ant-Man and the Wasp) and Ike Barinholtz (Blockers) have been cast in Happy Life, a comedy which marks the directorial debut of The Mindy Project writer and producer David Stassen.
The film will see Lilly as Allison Beck, “a new mom who suspects her workaholic husband Eli (Barinholtz) is having an affair with an Instagram star. One mistake after another leads her into the arms of a younger man as she struggles to come to terms with her life decisions and being the mother she aspires to be.”

Happy Life reunites Barinholtz with Stassen, who served as a producer on Barinholtz’s own directorial debut The Oath as well as last year’s comedy Blockers. The two will also produce this film, which is set to shoot in the summer.
