The Maze Runner and Alita: Battle Angel star Rosa Salazar is set to lead the cast of The Bang Bang Girls, a dramedy about a secret after-school sex education club.
The film has been scripted by Lauren Schacher (Baily & Darla, F*ck Yes), who will be making his directorial debut on the feature, and “follows a high-school valedictorian and her two best friends, who recruit their new chemistry teacher (Salazar) to form a secret after-school sex-ed club.”
The Bang Bang Club is slated to go into production later this year, with Bronwyn Cornelius (Clemency) and Stefan Nowicki (Obvious Child) producing.
