Raul Castillo to play Flamingo in Gotham season 2

September 25, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Variety is reporting that Looking star Raul Castillo has signed on to play the DC villain Eduardo Flamingo in the second season of Gotham, with the character set to make his debut in the ninth episode.

Created by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert,  Flamingo made his first appearance in Batman #666 in July 2007. His character description for the show reads:

“Eduardo Flamingo is one of Gotham’s most dangerous hitmen. Killing for him isn’t just a job, it’s an art form. Armed with a spiked chain and an appetite for flesh, this rock-a-billy assassin will prove to be one of Detective Jim Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie) trickiest foes.”
