Sophie Turner hasn’t watched Game of Thrones’ last two episodes because it’s “too emotional”

June 11, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Sophie Turner, who starred as Sansa on Game of Thrones, says that she hasn’t yet seen the last two episodes because it would be too emotional for her.

It doesn’t feel like there are many people who haven’t seen the final episodes of Game of Thrones but one of those who have stayed away is actually one of the show’s stars.

Sophie Turner revealed on Conan that she can’t bring herself to watch the last two episodes as it would be too emotional, considering the show took up so much of her childhood: “My whole adolescence, 10 years. It’s okay. I haven’t watched the last two episodes because…it’s too emotional for me. But I saw Dan Weiss last night, one of the creators, and I saw him and I just broke down into tears and I was like, ‘It can’t be over!’ But it is, so…’”

It would have been tough for all the actors to say goodbye to the show after all those years but especially for those who started the series as young children. Hopefully, Turner can get around to watching the episodes someday to see the final fruits of her labour.
