DJ Dimitri Vegas-themed Sub-Zero skin coming free to Mortal Kombat 11

July 23, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have announced they will be releasing a new Mortal Kombat 11 themed skin for fan favourite character Sub-Zero on 22nd August.  Inspired by DJ Dimitri Vegas, this skin will feature his likeness and voice and will be available as a free download for all Mortal Kombat 11 owners on all platforms.

DJ Dimitri Vegas has previously worked with the developers providing the music for two previous trailers, the Mortal Kombat 11 Gameplay Reveal Trailer from January where he provided an original track and the game’s launch trailer with a remix of the iconic Mortal Kombat theme song.  You can listen to the music in these trailers below.

The free skin will be available to download this August.

“Dimitri Vegas as Sub-Zero” character skin will be available as a free download for all Mortal Kombat 11 owners on Aug. 22 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC as well as the Kombat Pack which features six characters – Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, Spawn and two fighters which will arrive at a later date. The pack will also include numerous skins and gear sets to customise some of your favourite fighters. All DLC is also available to purchase individually.
