Mary Elizabeth Winstead says Birds of Prey is “totally unique” and “wild”

September 25, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Mary Elizabeth Winstead, one of the stars of DC’s Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), says that the film is going to be “totally unique” and “wild”.

DC has been on a bit of a role in recent times, putting films like Batman v Superman and Justice League in the past. Their new slate of movies has got a lot of people excited and this includes the Harley Quinn vehicle Birds of Prey.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who stars as Huntress in the film, has spoken to Total Film about what fans can expect, with the actress starting: “You can expect something really fun and a bit wild and totally unique. Every day we were there, we were doing something that just felt really weird and funny and unlike anything else I’ve seen before in this genre. It was incredibly exciting to get to do that. We really got to work. We just played, and we had fun.”
