Brie Larson doesn’t know when she’ll next be playing Captain Marvel

October 10, 2019 by Liam Waddington

After debuting in her own solo movie Captain Marvel, and her inclusion in Avengers: Endgame, Brie Larson doesn’t know when she’ll be playing Carol Danvers again in the MCU.

In an interview with Variety, Larson was asked if she knew when she’ll be filming the Captain Marvel sequel, but revealed she doesn’t know what project is next on her slate, nor when she’ll be returning as Carol Danvers.

“No. I don’t really know what job I’m going to do next, which is very exciting.” Larson explained. “I don’t even know what my life’s gonna be! And most of this year, you know, I had to do the press tour. But then the last half of the year, I’ve just been focusing way more on just doing what I want to do that’s completely outside of my job. I just feel like it’s been this incubation time. Whether it’s incubation because I’m developing projects, and also incubation myself, being, like: OK, I’m going to be turning 30. I’ve been working a lot. I need to just like change it up and see what’s there for me — see who I am now. And which ways that I want to grow.”

As Captain Marvel 2 isn’t listed in Marvel’s lineup for the upcoming Phase Four, this matches Larson’s comments regarding a sequel. The first film ended with Carol starting her quest to help the Skrulls find a new home, so the sequel could possibly continue this story further.

Are you wanting a sequel to Captain Marvel? What do you hope to see in the movie? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @flickeringmyth…
