Tessa Thompson believes Creed III will happen

October 16, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Tessa Thompson, one of the stars of Creed II, says that she thinks Creed III will happen someday.

The iconic Rocky franchise found new life with the Creed series of films. So far Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson have starred in Creed and Creed II but will the franchise continue any further?

Well, speaking at ACE Comic Con (via ComicBook.com), Thompson answered a question about her music being used for the Creed films and gave her thoughts on the future: “I feel so lucky that doing the Creed movies, I get to write that music and perform that music. And I think we’re going to make a Creed III eventually so I’ll make more music then.”

SEE ALSO: Creed II was originally going to feature a cameo from Apollo’s ghost

Creed II made $214 million at the box office against a $50 million budget so the financial incentive certainly seems like it’s there. Would you like to see Creed III? Let us know in the comments below and on Twitter @flickeringmyth.
