Space tourism goes wrong in first trailer for Armando Iannucci’s Avenue 5

HBO has released the first teaser trailer for Armando Iannucci’s (Veep, The Death of Stalin) upcoming space tourism comedy Avenue 5 which stars Hugh Laurie as the captain of a luxury space cruise liner embarking on an eight-week trip around Saturn, which unfortunately doesn’t quite go as planned; check out the trailer here…

Avenue 5 premieres this January on HBO and features a cast that also includes Josh Gad, Zach Woods, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Rebecca Front, Lenora Crichlow, Suzy Nakamura, and Ethan Phillips.
