Rebellion releases a trio of classic video games on Steam

December 5, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer Rebellion has released a trio of classic titles on Steam for the very first time.  These three games are World War Zero, Gun Lok and Free Running and are available right now with a special 15% launch week discount.  To accompany this trio of games is a trio of launch trailers which can be seen below…

In World War Zero, there was never an end to the First World War, it just continued on and on.  Set in March 1964, players will take the role of Lieutenant James Anderson and set out on a mission to stop the villainous Baron Ugenberg from carrying out his plans to build a huge empire and crush all those who oppose him.

Players will need to fight their way through 16 action packed levels of this wartorn alternate Earth and infiltrate and destroy key enemy positions while making the most of James’ combat and stealth skills.

With Gunlok, players travel to the end of the 21st century into a world where robots have enslaved humanity.  A few pockets of human resistance remain and it is up to players to gain revenge on these robotic overlords.  Taking the role of the titular hero, players will take the fight to the robots using their experimental battle armour.

The game features:

  • Team based gameplay puts players in command of up to 5 characters.
  • 15 massive singleplayer levels, and a multiplayer mode  for those able to play with their friends via LAN only.
  • Customisable characters to make your team unique.
  • Weapons that can be upgraded to pound out more death and destruction.

Finally, Free Running brings the world of parkour and the near unlimited challenges that the urban or natural environment provides to our monitors.  Joining an elite group of athletes known as ‘Tracers’ (Free Runners), players will need to race against others teams to become the greatest tracer of all time.

Featuring:

  • 10 different levels set within 3 distinct zones providing more than 60 challenges.
  • Over 50 moves, tricks and stunts to master, including ‘Kong Vaults’, ‘Pharaoh Climbs’, ‘Rail Split – Vaults’ and ‘Vertical Wall Runs’.
  • 9 different challenge modes.
  • More characters, clothes, tricks and music to unlock.
  • Free roaming gameplay.

These three titles are available now on Steam.
