December 4, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that The Expanse actor Steven Allerick has become the latest addition to the cast of Paramount and Allspark’s G.I. Joe spinoff movie Snake Eyes.

Allerick is set to portray the father of the title character, whose murder will lead Snake Eyes to Japan, where he trains with the ancient Arashikage ninja clan.

Henry Golding (Last Christmas) is set to take on the role of the fan favourite Joe alongside a cast that also includes Andrew Koji (Warrior) as Storm Shadow, Iko Uwais (The Raid) as Hard Master, Úrsula Corberó (Money Heist) as The Baroness, Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) as Scarlett and Haruka Abe (Ideal) in an as-yet-unrevealed role.

Snake Eyes is set for release on October 16th 2020 and will see Robert Schwentke (R.I.P.D.) directing from a script by Evan Spiliotopoulos (Beauty and the Beast).
