Jeanne Cavelos is a former senior editor for Bantam Doubleday Dell, and winner of the World Fantasy Award, a former NASA scientist, and an author of several books, including The Science of Star Wars, The Science of The X-Files, and the best-selling The Passing of the Techno-Mages trilogy set in the Babylon 5 universe. She has been running and teaching at the Odyssey workshop since 1996.
