December 18, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

With just a week to go until its Christmas Day release, Universal Pictures has revealed another trailer for Sam Mendes’ First World War epic 1917 along with a new IMAX poster featuring George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman; take a look here…

At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantastic’s George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers— Blake’s own brother among them.

1917 is set for release on Christmas Day 2019 in North America and on January 10th 2020 in the UK, and features a cast that includes George MacKay, Dean-Charles Chapman, Mark Strong, Andrew Scott, Richard Madden, Claire Duburcq, with Colin Firth, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
