Rogue-lite HyperParasite available now on PC and consoles

April 4, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Troglobytes Games and Hound Picked Games have announced the release of their rogue-lite twin-stick shoot ‘em up, HyperParasite on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in North America and Europe.  Check out the game’s launch trailer below…

HyperParasite takes players to an 80s inspired dystopia where they take the role of a monstrous evil alien with a bone to pick with humanity.  Throughout this dangerous procedurally generated world, players will fight their way to the top of the pop-cultural food chain with the aim of pushing the big red button for a nuclear ending to the world.

Featuring:

  • More than 60 different characters to control as host bodies, each with their own skills and weaponry.
  • A retro 3D-pixelated design.
  • Survive 5 procedurally-generated acts filled with secrets.
  • Local co-op mode for double the fun.
  • Original soundtrack by Van Reeves and Joe Kataldo.

“After the success of Early Access on Steam, the Troglobytes Games team are ecstatic at finally releasing the game across all platforms,” said Saverio Caporusso, CEO of Trologbytes Games. “We hope that players all over the world enjoy being taken back to the sights and sounds of the 80s. Don’t be a dweeb, be bodacious and play HyperParasite now! Get ready to go back to 1980-something, you’re gonna see some serious shit!”

HyperParasite is available now on PC and consoles, priced £13.99/ $17.99 / €14.99. A 33% discount is available on Steam, Xbox One and PS4 until 18th April.
