UPDATE: Justice League cast react to Snyder Cut release announcement

Justice League stars Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher have reacted to the news that HBO Max is set to release the Snyder Cut.

After years of speculation, fan petitions, and actor call outs, WB has finally announced that Zack Snyder’s Justice League – formerly known as the Snyder Cut – will finally be released. It is coming to HBO Max in four parts and will see some actors return for additional voice work.

Fans are obviously very pleased and perhaps a little surprised to see this finally happen and some of the film’s biggest stars have also shared their excitement.

Henry Cavill took to social media and posted: “Ladies and Gents, it finally happened. The Snyder cut will be out next year!

“Now, I know there have been two camps over the whole Snyder Cut thing and whether it will ever happen for a while. Just remember, we all get to have more Justice League now, it’s a win win. So, be nice to each other ;). Big congratulations to you, Mr Snyder!

Jason Momoa, who has been very vocal in the past about the project, said: “WE WANT finally it’s happening. your welcome. justice served. all my aloha to everyone who made this happen. all the fans. we love you. ALOHA J”

Justice League was directed by Zack Snyder and featured Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera and Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf.
