Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord arrives on the Epic Games Store

June 18, 2020 by Andrew Newton

TaleWorlds has announced that Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is now available on the Epic Games Store. This highly anticipated sequel was first released on Steam Early Access on 30th March and quickly became one of the most successful games released on the platform to date. Since the game’s initial release on Early Access there has been dozens of patches and updates featuring a range of new features as well as bug fixes.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord takes place 200 years before the events of Mount & Blade: Warband and players will see a very different Calradia than the one they will be familiar with.  The Calradian Empire is on the verge of collapse and the remains of this once mighty and ancient empire are being fought over by several factions.  While these factions squabble over the remnants of the once great empire, other forces seek to gain power by taking advantage of the chaos.

The difference between life and death, victory and defeat, glory and misery, is as thin as your shadow, as sharp as your blade, as swift as your horse. The world is crumbling, and the spoils of its fall are at hand for men and women with wits, ambition and battle skills — people such as you. Your destiny is yours to decide.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is available to purchase through Steam, Epic Games Store, Humble Bundle and the TaleWorlds website and comes with a 20% discount.
