The Walking Dead casts Margot Bingham in Season 11

July 21, 2020 by Ricky Church

While fans wait for the Season 10 finale to air later this year, there is some news to look forward to for the eleventh season of the hit AMC series. Deadline has revealed Margot Bingham (New Amsterdam) has joined the cast for the next season.

AMC has not officially revealed who she will portray, but Bingham has provided the voice of the mysterious Stephanie, an unseen character who Josh McDermmit’s Eugene has spoken with over the radio. It is likely Season 11 will see Bingham play Stephanie in the flesh. In the last episode aired before The Walking Dead took a premature hiatus, Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko and Princess were making their way to meet Stephanie.

The Season 10 finale is set to air something this fall. Showrunner Angela Kang teased the return of fan-favourite character Maggie, played by Lauren Cohen, in the finale and Season 11 while franchise creator Robert Kirkman recently gave an update on the Rick Grimes movie starring Andrew Lincoln reprising his role.
