July 22, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Lexip Games have announced that their horror adventure, Dark Room, is now available on Steam.  This terrifying point-and-click adventure will have players solving puzzles and unraveling the threads of their past while uncovering the mysteries of their destiny.

At the start of Dark Room players find themselves trapped in a mysterious mansion full of terror, deceit and surprises where puzzles wait to be solved, clues to be deciphered and doors long to be opened.  Locked in a room with just a strange wristwatch displaying the date 4th July, 1997 while a golden key is the first clue to start players of on a journey of self discovery of who they are, where they are and how to escape.

Clues are hidden in the most unlikely of places and items can be collected and combined with others for use to solve the devious puzzles.  The mystery protagonist carries with them a journal which becomes a logbook of the games letters, clues and riddles scattered throughout.

He stared at the darkness and thinking. In early morning, when all the doors were locked, they had all wanted to come in, and now that he had opened one door and the other had apparently been opened during the day, no one came in and even the keys were on the other side of the doors…

Dark Room is available on Steam now.
