Michael Bowen and Lori Petty join Gotham season 2

December 2, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Fox’s Batman prequel series Gotham has added a couple of new faces to its cast for the second half of season two in Michael Bowen (Breaking Bad) and Lori Petty (Tank Girl).

Comic Book reports that Bowen will play Patrick ‘Matches’ Malone, who will be familiar to Batman fans as a small time crook whose identity Bruce Wayne occasionally assumes after his death for undercover missions in Gotham City.

The character description reads: “One of Gotham’s deadliest killers, Matches Malone is a weathered, philosophical hitman who may be the triggerman behind one of the most important crimes in Gotham’s history.”

Meanwhile, Variety has revealed that Petty will play Jeri, “the flamboyant and enigmatic hostess of an underground club where mass murder and art are celebrated in equal measure. Jeri gives clues to Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) during his hunt for his parents’ killer, but she and her gang of merry maniacs are less helpful when Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) comes calling.”

Gotham season 2 will resume on February 29th.
