Pam & Tommy adds Taylor Schilling, Spenser Granese and Mozhan Marnò

April 29, 2021 by Ricky Church

Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black) has joined Hulu’s upcoming Pam & Tommy, a series about the marriage of Pamela Andersom and Tommy Lee which also resulted in one of the biggest celebrity scandals of the 1990s with the theft of their infamous sex tape. Also joining the series are Spenser Granese and Mozhan Marnò.

The trio join Lily James (Rebecca) and Sebastian Stan (Falcon and the Winter Soldier), who are playing Anderson and Lee in the series. Seth Rogen (This Is The End) plays Rand, the man who stole the tape, with Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) playing Uncle Miltie, a “porn impresario” who helped distribute it. Also starring in recurring roles is Andrew Dice Clay (A Star is Born) and Pepi Sonuga (Famous in Love).

Directed by Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya), the series will explore the whirlwind romance between the Baywatch star and Mötley Crüe drummer, who were married in 1995 just 96 hours after meeting each other. Of course, it will also incorporate the leaked sex tape scandal that dominated tabloid headlines and ultimately led to a legal dispute and settlement.

Schilling stars in a series regular role as “Erica, Rand’s wife — at least on paper. Erica is a porn star on her own terms, with emotional and intellectual intelligence that Rand cannot quite fathom. Although she’s moved on long ago, she still holds a place in her life for Rand … as long as he behaves.”

Granese will play “Steve Fasanella, a mulleted, low-IQ individual who works for Uncle Miltie at Ingley Studios. In his loose morals and underachieving, he’s not unlike Rand himself, minus the unreasonable goals.”

Marnò plays “Gail Chwatsky, an absolute powerhouse of a publicist. Gail knows what it’ll take to elevate Pamela Anderson’s career. Although she’s strictly business, there’s a side to Gail that genuinely cares for Pamela’s well-being.”

Rogen will also produce the eight-episode series alongside Evan Goldberg, Dave Franco, Sue Naegle, Dylan Sellers and Megan Ellison.
