Classic 90’s shoot ’em ups Operation Body Count and Corridor 7: Alien Invasion arrive on GOG

May 6, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Ziggurat Interactive has today released two retro shoot ’em ups on GOG that will take players back to the heady days of the 90s.  Operation Body Count and Corridor 7: Alien Invasion will both drop players into the thick of the action where terrorists and intergalactic invaders pose the biggest threat to mankind.  New trailers can be seen below showing these games in all their pixelated beauty.

In Operation Body Count the United Nations building has been seized by Victor Baloch and his terrorist organisation.  The entire building is in lockdown and they are holding the world leaders hostage.  As the leader of an Elite Forces team it is up to players to defeat the terrorists and free the hostages before Baloch carries out his threat.

Players will need to fight their way through 40 floors filled with terrorists and command and control their squad by switching which team member they control.  Players will have a variety of weapons to kill terrorists with, including submachine guns, assault rifles, flamethrowers and grenade launchers, all of which has the ability to damage the environment.

Get to the penthouse, free the hostages and kill Victor Baloch or the world will plunge into chaos.

Corridor 7: Alien Invasion puts players in the firing line of aliens from another dimension.  Thanks to scientists tampering with things they don’t truly understand, a portal to another dimension has been opened and allowed a swarm of aliens to come through murdering all they find.  As a solo Special Forces operative, players will need to fight their way through the 30 floors of the Delta Base research facility and shut down the gate’s power source.

Operation Body Count and Corridor 7: Alien Invasion are available now on GOG with a limited time 33% discount.
