Wargaming have joined up with Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures to celebrate the release of action adventure movie Godzilla vs. Kong with an exclusive, time-limited event on World of Warships and World of Warships: Legends, which is underway as we speak. Running until the end of May, this event will allow players to fight alongside these titans in their own themed vessels. The new trailer for this event can be seen below…
This epic heavyweight battle of the sea will have players able to take part in a special new chain of combat missions and to unlock it all players need to do is choose a side, Team Godzilla or Team Kong. Each stage completed in the mission stage will reward players with two Ultimate Guardian or Ultimate Titan camouflages, those who complete the chain will provide one King Container as a reward. This mission chain will be available in Random, Ranked and Co-op Battles as well as in Operations playing Tier V-X ships.
Players will be able to purchase three different themed bundles. Those choosing Kong: Primordial Rage includes the unique Commander Kong with 10 skill points to spend and a unique voiceover, the USS North Carolina with permanent Primal camouflage, a commemorative flag and a themed camouflage. While those who join with Godzilla can choose the Godzilla: Apex Monster bundle and gain Commander Godzilla, again with 10 skill points and a unique voiceover, the Japanese battleship Amagi with the Heat Ray permanent camouflage, a commemorative flag and a themed camouflage. Those who can’t make their mind up over which team to fight for can choose the Large Pack Bundle and get both.
This limited time event runs until the end of May.
