I May Destroy You leads the winners of BAFTA’s 2021 British Academy Television Awards

The BBC and HBO’s I May Destroy You led the winners of the 2021 British Television Academy Awards this Sunday, with the critically acclaimed drama receiving the BAFTA for Outstanding Mini-Series and its star Michaela Coel receiving the award for Best Actress.

Other winners on the night included Save Me Too (Drama Series), Sitting in Limbo (Single Drama) and Inside No. 9 (Scripted Comedy), while acting honours went to Paul Mescal (Leading Actor for Normal People), Charlie Cooper (Male Comedy Performance for This Country), Malachi Kirby (Supporting Actor for Small Axe), Aimee Lou Wood (Female Comedy Performance for Sex Education) and Rakie Ayola (Supporting Actress for Anthony).
