Free Butcher’s Banquet update arrives for Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2

July 21, 2021 by Andrew Newton

A major new expansion ominously titled Butcher’s Banquet has arrived for Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 today and brings with it an expansive new area and new threats.  The update is free to all players on PC and consoles and you can see more of Butcher’s Banquet in the trailer below…

Butcher’s Banquet introduces a brand new desert region complete with a luscious oasis, waterfalls and temples.  Though despite its beautiful and scenic views it is a place of death for the unwary thanks to the new threats that have arisen due to the events of the game’s main campaign.  The most deadly of these threats is the Butcher himself, Mahmoud Zarza.  In a new contract, it is the Butcher that players will have to make their target.

This all new expansion continues to build on all the elements that have made the game so popular with gamers, including the extreme 1000m+ sniper range, more intelligent NPCs and an absolutely lethal array of weaponry.

This new update is available free for players on consoles and PC now.

The Playstation 5 edition of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 will arrive on 24th August and can be pre-ordered now.  Those who do will get a free copy of the Crossbow Carnage DLC pack.
