The Lost City of D has wrapped filming, confirms Channing Tatum

August 17, 2021 by Liam Waddington

Channing Tatum has taken to Twitter to confirm that his upcoming action rom-com The Lost City of D has wrapped filming while also praising his co-star Sandra Bullock.

That’s a wrap on #LostCityOfD. I love this movie so much I don’t have words. I also don’t have words for how special Sandy Bullock is. We definitely were made in the same lab & share a brain at times. I ❤️ U girl. As U can see I’ll ride your coattails anywhere anytime forever. 🤣 pic.twitter.com/yAXAf5D4x6

Directed by Aaron and Adam Nee (Band of Robbers), The Lost City of D sees Bullock playing a reclusive romance novelist who finds herself stuck on a book tour with her cover model (Tatum) until a kidnapping attempt sees them both swept up in a cutthroat jungle adventure.

Joining Bullock and Tatum in the film are Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) as the villain alongside Patti Harrison (Raya and the Last Dragon), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Dolemite Is My Name), and Oscar Nunez (The Office) while Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) is set to cameo.

The Lost City of D is slated for release on April 15th 2022.
