Vin Diesel reveals that The Pacifier 2 is in development

December 18, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Despite having Fast & Furious 8, xXx 3, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and a new Riddick movie on the horizon, it seems Vin Diesel has added another sequel to his upcoming slate, with the actor revealing on Facebook that The Pacifier 2 is in development.

“You know that I’m producing Fast 8 next year. You know that I’m about to go start shooting xXx. Some of you may know that Disney is, at my little angels’ request, writing the next Pacifier.”

Released in 2005, The Pacifier saw Diesel as a U.S. Navy Seal who is assigned to protect the children of a deceased scientist while he searches for top secret government secrets. Despite being mauled by critics, the film earned almost $200 million at the global box office from a budget of $56 million.
