Titan unveils first look at The Phantom of the Opera graphic novel adaptation

November 26, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Titan Comics has unveiled a preview of The Phantom of the Opera, its upcoming graphic novel adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic stage musical, which has been written by Cavan Scott with art from Jose Maria Beroy. Check it out here…

1881 the cast and crew of a new production, Hannibal, are terrorized by the Phantom of the Opera, a mysterious, hideously disfigured man who lives beneath the Paris Opera House. Hopelessly in love and obsessed with one of the chorus singers, the Phantom will stop at nothing to make her the star of the show, even if that means murder.

The timeless story, based on the original book by Gaston Leroux, sees the beautiful soprano Christine Daaé become the obsession of the hideously disfigured and mysterious Phantom of the Opera, the musical genius who rules – through fear – the Paris Opera House from his subterranean lair deep beneath the streets of Paris.

Relive every moment and every song of the classic stage musical – from the legendary chandelier crash, to Christine’s first visit to the Paris catacombs and the Phantom’s lair. Open your mind, let your fantasies unwind and let this book take you back to the wonders of The Phantom of the Opera.

The Phantom of the Opera goes on sale on December 7th in the UK and on January 11th in the US.
