13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim available now for pre-order

February 15, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Atlus’ critically acclaimed 2D side-scrolling adventure 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will be arriving on on Nintendo Switch on 12th April and from today gamers can pre-order physical and digital copies of the game.  Those who opt for the physical edition will receive a pack of bonus art cards as an added extra.

Developed by Vanillaware, the storytellers behind Odin Sphere and Dragon’s Crown, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is an epic sci-fi mystery spread across thirteen intertwining stories.  Throughout these stories, players will take the role of thirteen different characters and seek out clues as they delve into beautifully drawn environments and uncover the truth behind the greatest of mysteries.

It’s not all just mystery solving as players will be required to defend all of humanity by equipping an arsenal of mech suits to help defend locations called Terminals from waves of vicious kaiju.  The further that these characters go, the more experience points they will gain and also earn passive bonus effects.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim features:

  • Beautifully rendered in Vanillaware’s signature hand-painted visual style
  • Uncover a deep story through visions of the past and the future
  • The doomsday clock is ticking. Become a Sentinel pilot, customise your mech, and fight waves of kaiju in top-down tactical combat

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is available to pre-order now in both physical and digital editions.
