Elisha Cuthbert ventures into The Cellar in trailer for SXSW horror

Following its world premiere at the SXSW Festival (read our review here), a trailer and images have been released for writer-director Brendan Muldowney’s supernatural horror The Cellar which stars Elisha Cuthbert as a mother who discovers a powerful entity is controlling her new home when her daughter mysteriously vanishes from the basement.

Keira Woods’ (Elisha Cuthbert) daughter mysteriously vanishes in the cellar of their new house. She soon discovers there is an ancient and powerful entity controlling their home that she will have to face or risk losing her family’s souls forever.

The Cellar arrives in cinemas and on Shudder on April 15th and features a cast that includes Elisha Cuthbert, Eoin Macken, Abby Fitz and Dylan Fitzmaurice-Brady.
