Hot Toys brings Keanu Reeves’ Neo to life with The Matrix Resurrections sixth scale figure

July 11, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Hot Toys has has unveiled its convention exclusive sixth scale Movie Masterpiece Series Neo collectible figure which is based on the likeness of Keanu Reeves in last year’s sci-fi sequel The Matrix Resurrections. It is available to pre-order now, priced at $250; check out the promotional images here…

Faithfully crafted based on the appearance of Keanu Reeves as Neo in The Matrix Resurrections, the Neo figure features a newly developed head sculpt and hair sculpture highlighting impressive likeness; the iconic long coat and form-fitting outfit with fine tailoring; an array of highly-detailed accessories including a pair of sunglasses, a bottle of pills, bullets with interchangeable waves effect, two-sided backdrop with mirror and frame, a Matrix video game themed backdrop with lenticular effect, interchangeable hands with blue pills and red pills, and a Matrix figure stand.

“Twenty years after the first film, the franchise that helped define pop culture at the turn of the century is back for a continuation and extension of the original movie. The Matrix remains in the zeitgeist as a film that has changed the way we look at cinema and reality itself. With its game-changing action and visual effects, The Matrix helped pave the way for films to follow.”

The Matrix Resurrections reunites director Lana Wachowski with original stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman), Jessica Henwick (Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens), Jonathan Groff (Mindhunter), Neil Patrick Harris (Gone Girl), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Quantico), Christina Ricci (The Addams Family), Telma Hopkins (Dead to Me), Eréndira Ibarra (Sense8), Toby Onwumere (Empire), Max Riemelt (Sense8), Brian J. Smith (Treadstone), and Jada Pinkett Smith (Angel Has Fallen).
