Netflix announces cast of new Adam Sandler film You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!

Production is now underway on Adam Sandler’s next Netflix film, You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!. Starring alongside Sandler will be his Uncut Gems co-star Idina Menzel, Sarah Sherman (Saturday Night Live) and Luis Guzmán (Wednesday) with Sammi Cohen (Crush) directing.

You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah! is how “a girl’s bat mitzvah plans comedically unravel and threaten to ruin one of the most important events of her young life.” It is based on the novel written by Fiona Rosenbloom.

The film features an ensemble cast that includes Sunny Sandler (Hustle), Sadie Sandler (Hubie Halloween), Ido Mosseri (Sandy Wexler), Samantha Lorraine (The Walking Dead: World Beyond), Dylan Hoffman (Next), Dean Scott Vazquez (Theater Camp), Miya Cech (Always Be My Maybe), Dylan Dash (Adeline, The Great), Millie Thorpe (Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion), Jackie Sandler (The Wrong Missy) and Zaara Kuttemperoor and Ivory Baker in their feature debut.

The script was adapted by Alison Peck (Work It). Sandler is producing with Tim Herlihy through his company Happy Madison alongside Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton for Alloy Entertainment.
