The cast of Vin Diesel’s xXx: The Return of Xander Cage continues to come together, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries) and Ruby Rose (Orange Is the New Black) are both in talks to appear in the upcoming action sequel.
The film, which is now in production under director D.J. Caruso (Disturbia), sees Diesel returning as extreme sports enthusiast turned NSA spy Xander Cage, while Samuel L. Jackson also reprises his role from the 2002 original. New additions to the cast include Jet Li (The Expendables), Tony Jaa (Ong-Bak), Deepika Padukone (Cocktail) and UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
