Complete list of nominations for the 88th Academy Awards

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has today announced the nominations for the 88th Academy Awards. Alejandro G. Inarritu’s The Revenant leads the field with twelve nominations, including Best Picture, where it is up against Spotlight, The Big Short, Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Martian and Room.

Mad Max: Fury Road earned 10 nominations in total, with George Miller set to contest the Best Director Oscar alongside Inarritu, Lenny Abrahamson (Room), Tom McCarthy (Spotlight) and Adam McKay (The Big Short).
