Netflix’s Scrooge: A Christmas Carol animated movie gets a new trailer, poster and promo images

November 11, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

With just three weeks to go until it arrives on Netflix, a trailer, poster and images have been released for Scrooge: A Christmas Carol, director Stephen Donnelly’s musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic tale which follows selfish miser Ebenezer Scrooge as he is given the opportunity to face his past and change the future over the course of one night; take a look below…

Charles Dickens’ ageless legend is reborn in this supernatural, time-travelling, musical adaptation of the definitive Christmas story. With his very soul on the line, Scrooge has but one Christmas Eve left to face his past and build a better future. Featuring re-imagined songs from the legendary and two-time Academy Award® winner Leslie Bricusse OBE, Scrooge: A Christmas Carol is one for a new generation to sing.

The film features the voice talents of Luke Evans, Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Johnny Flynn, Fra Fee, Giles Terera, Trevor Dion Nicholas, James Cosmo, and Jonathan Pryce.

Scrooge: A Christmas Carol arrives on Netflix on December 2nd.
