Pokémon fans, it’s time to say goodbye to Ash and Pikachu, as the beloved pair’s journey comes to an end in 2023, followed by the launch of a brand new Pokémon series featuring a never-before-seen-storyline and two new protagonists, Liko and Roy, as they set off on their own action-packed adventures across the Pokémon world.
The new series will debut after the current season of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, which sees Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu winning the Masters Eight Tournament of the Pokémon World Coronation Series – the culmination of 25 years of adventures.
Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series will conclude with a collection of special episodes featuring fan-favorite Pokémon and characters, which will serve to celebrate Ash’s achievement as well as expressing gratitude to all of the fans who have joined him and his partner Pokémon Pikachu along the way.
Ash and Pikachu’s journey will end in 2023, followed by the launch of the new as-yet-untitled series.
