March 24, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Elizabeth Olsen has got red on her in the brand new trailer for HBO Max’s Candy Montgomery drama Love & Death, the true crime series that tells the story of an unhappy housewife who embarks on an affair with a married man in their small Texan town of Wylie, which ultimately ends in bloodshed.

The limited series stars Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision) as Candy Montgomery, Jesse Plemons (Friday Night Lights) as Allan Gore, Lily Rabe (American Horror Story) as Betty Gore, Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) as Sherry Cleckler, Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous) as Pat Montgomery, Keir Gilchrist (Atypical) as Pastor Ron Adams, Elizabeth Marvel (House of Cards) as Pastor Jackie Ponder, and Tom Pelphrey (Ozark) as Don Crowder. Check out the trailer below…

This riveting drama, written by David E. Kelley and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter, tells the true story of Candy and Pat Montgomery and Betty and Allan Gore – two churchgoing couples enjoying their smalltown Texas life… until an extramarital affair leads somebody to pick up an axe.

Love & Death premieres on HBO Max on April 27th.
