Henry Cavill’s Superman gets a life-size Zack Snyder’s Justice League collectible bust

April 11, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Sideshow has unveiled Infinity Studio & Penguin Toys’ life-size Superman bust which is based on the appearance of Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel in his black suit in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Limited to 499 pieces, the DC collectible is available to pre-order now, priced at $4,500.

Infinity Studio has once again collaborated with Penguin Toys, and bring Superman with his black suit that appeared in Zack Snyder’s Justice League to real life with their proud silicone life-size busts!

This time, Infinity Studio has brought new technological breakthroughs for silicone statues, they gave the 1:1 silicone portrait a more vivid and natural expression, Superman’s eyes have light-up functions inside, and can be switched between the normal prosthetic eye and the illuminated mode, restoring his iconic heat vision ability!

Meanwhile, the Superman’s suit is also made of rubber material, the suit is specially tailored to fit his body muscles, and achieved first-ever texture restoration effect. The base design is inspired by the art style of the Kryptonian spaceship in the movie, with Superman’s iconic “S” logo in the front and the movie’s shield logo in the back. Also, the activation button of the lighting effect is designed into the shape of Kryptonian ship’s key in the movie with accuracy, made of metal and can be removed as a separate part.

In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid, and their dreadful intentions.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder and features Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as General Antiope, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera, Joe Morton as Silas Stone, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke, Harry Lennix as Martian Manhunter, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Zheng Kai as Ryan Choi, Peter Guinness as DeSaad, Ray Porter as Darkseid, and Jared Leto as The Joker.
