Trailer and posters for The Crown season 6 reveal two-part release

October 9, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

In true Royal fashion, Netflix has released an announcement trailer for the final season of The Crown, which will drop the first four episodes of its farewell run on the streamer on Nov. 16, before releasing its final six episodes on Dec. 14.

Peter Morgan’s critically acclaimed drama series will use the final season to cover the late ‘90s and early 2000s, a period dominated by the death of Princess Diana, played by Tenet‘s Elizabeth Debicki.

Season 6 will also star Imelda Staunton as The Queen, Ed McVey as Prince William, Luther Ford as Prince Harry, Meg Bellamy as Kate Middleton, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Phillip, Dominic West as Prince Charles and Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker-Bowles. Check out the announcement posters and trailer below…

Inspired by real events, this fictional dramatisation tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II and the political and personal events that shaped her reign.

The final season of The Crown is split into two parts, with Part 1 streaming from November 16th, and Part 2 from December 14th, only on Netflix.
