Bella Heathcote joins Fifty Shades Darker

Following on from the news of Kim Basinger’s casting, Deadline is reporting that Bella Heathcote (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) has signed on to appear in Universal’s upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey sequel Fifty Shades Darker.

Heathcote is set to play Leila, a former lover of Christian Grey, who bears the scars to prove it. Heathcote and Basinger will join the returning Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) in the cast of the film, which is being directed by James Foley (Glengarry Glen Ross).

Fifty Shades Darker is set for release on February 10th 2017, with the third and final instalment Fifty Shades Freed following on February 9th 2018.
