Mubi has released a poster and trailer for writer-director Quentin Dupieux’s (Rubber, Deerskin) award-winning comedy Yannick.
The film stars Raphaël Quenard as Yannick, a car park guard who decides to hijack the production of Le Cocu after feeling dissatisfied with the performance, demanding to be made the playwright and determined to prove he can create good entertainment. Watch the trailer below…
On a rare night off, car park guard Yannick attends a production of the play “Le Cocu.” Dissatisfied by the performance, he hijacks the show and demands to be made the playwright to prove even he can create good entertainment.
Joining Raphaël Quenard in the cast are Pio Marmaï, Blanche Gardin and Sébastien Chassagne.
Yannick is set for release on April 5th.
