Become a galactic scoundrel with Star Wars Outlaws trailer

April 10, 2024 by Gary Collinson

Get ready for some open-world gameplay Star Wars-style, as Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games have released a trailer for Star Wars Outlaws, a new action-adventure game from Massive Entertainment (Tom Clancy’s The Division) which is set to thrust players into the dangerous, cut-throat criminal underworld of the galaxy far, far away.

The trailer – which you can see below along with a selection of official screenshots – highlights the game’s protagonist Kay Vess and her companion Nix, who will find themselves crossing paths with ruthless criminal organisations like the Hutts and Crimson Dawn in a story that takes place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Experience the first-ever open world Star Wars game, set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new. Risk it all as Kay Vess, a scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her companion Nix. Fight, steal, and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as you join the galaxy’s most wanted.

Star Wars: Outlaws is set for release on August 30th 2024.
