SelectaPlay has announced the release of boxed versions of the Standard and Limited Special Editions of Overlord: Escape From Nazarick for the Nintendo Switch. This Limited Special Edition includes lots of Overlord themed goodies that even Ainz Ooal Gown would consider them treasures. Read below for more on the limited edition.
Overlord: Escape From Nazarick is a 2D dark fantasy action-adventure game that places players in the role of the warrior Clementine who awakes to find herself imprisoned in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Weaponless and suffering from amnesia, Clementine is determined to escape from the brutal experiments being carried out by the mysterious undead called Ainz Ooal Gown. Players will need to explore every bit of the Great Tomb of Nazarick to find her weapons, unlock her memories and abilities.
This pixel-art-styled Metroidvania is based on the hit anime and light novel series Overlord and features:
- A storyline fully supervised by Overlord creator Maruyama Kugane.
- A huge world to explore and parkour through using Clementine’s incredible agility.
- A wide array of magical abilities that can boost mobility or firepower and help exploration.
- A variety of weapons that can be upgraded to exploit enemy weaknesses.
- Seek out Clementine’s memories hidden throughout Nazarick.
Besides a copy of the game, the boxed Limited Special Edition includes a printed colour instruction manual, an Adventure’s Guild pendant (Adamantite Rank), the original soundtrack on CD, a special printed artbook and a digital code to download the soundtrack and artbook. All of which is contained within a special box.
