Popeye horror-comedy Shiver Me Timbers gets a teaser trailer and first-look images

November 18, 2024 by Gary Collinson

Popeye the Sailor is set to become 2025’s Mickey Mouse as the character enters the public domain and finds himself centrepiece in a number of horror movies based around the iconic cartoon character.

Following on from yesterday’s first-look images at Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey distributor ITN Studios’ Popeye slasher, we now have a look at Shiver Me Timbers, a horror-comedy from Scottish-based Alpake Entertainment and director Paul Mann. Take a look at the poster, teaser trailer and promotional images here…

In Shiver Me Timbers, Olive Oyl, her brother Castor and friends, go on a camping trip to see the meteor shower with Halley’s Comet. But the night turns into horror as a meteor transforms Popeye into an unstoppable killing machine.

A full trailer for Shiver Me Timbers will be arriving early in the New Year.
