Glen Powell set for erotic sci-fi thriller Homewreckers

December 15, 2024 by EJ Moreno

Glen Powell has a new project that has hit Hollywood. He’s begun Homewreckers, a new package based on a novella by Neil Paik, who is attached to adapt.

While plot details are being kept secret, the film is described as an erotic thriller with a sci-fi twist. Some have cited Fatal Attraction and Ex Machina as inspirations for the project. Powell will produce as well as starring.

Powell has one of the most intense film slates. This year alone, he’s coming off the action sequel Twisters, Sony’s hit rom-com Anyone But You, and the Netflix romp Hit Man. He’s currently shooting Edgar Wright’s The Running Man opposite Josh Brolin and will soon star in Huntington opposite Margaret Qualley, along with J.J. Abrams’ mystery movie opposite Jenna Ortega. Soon, he’ll drop the Hulu comedy Chad Powers, and there is probably much more we need to remember.

Writer Neil Paik recently penned The Bombshell Bandit for Amazon MGM Studios and Atlas and will soon make his feature-directing debut with Windowshopper. With Powell producing, the buzzy project is expected to attract considerable attention. Stay tuned for more news on Homewreckers.
