New Sinners trailer drops as Ryan Coogler reveals details about his Michael B. Jordan vampire film

January 28, 2025 by EJ Moreno

Ryan Coolger’s hotly anticipated vampire thriller is just around the corner, and he’s released a new trailer and some new details.

“There are vampires in the film, but it’s really about a lot more,” Ryan Coogler teases THR. “A lot of Coen Brothers influence in this. Robert Rodriguez is a big one. There’s a lot of John Carpenter in the film as well.”

It’s also hinted that vampires are “not the only supernatural element’ in the film.” At this time, we don’t know what other creatures will surface.

He adds, “It’s a love letter to the experience of watching an exhilarating movie in a packed house full of strangers, not knowing what’s going to happen next.” Continuing, “So many incredible films have given me that feeling, so I wanted to try my hand at given it back to audiences.”

The film features Michael B. Jordan in a dual role alongside a cast including Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, and Delroy Lindo. Check out the new poster and trailer below…

Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

Sinners arrives in theaters only nationwide on April 18th, 2025.
